Art in Place is an Urban Land Institute (ULI) initiative that aspires to build stronger connections between artists and real estate enterprises through creative placemaking.

Urban Land Institute
  • Utilize the power of art and local culture to bring communities together, spark dialogue and celebrate the diverse fabric of the Hong Kong neighborhood.

  • Empower local artists to revitalize urban spaces through community engagement and cultural expression to foster a collective neighborhood identity.

  • Bridge the gap between real estate stakeholders and creatives, to integrate community engagement through art and culture in real estate and encourage efforts on creative placemaking.

Why Hong Kong?

Hong Kong is a place of rapid change and highly densified occupation. We see an opportunity to utilise vacant real estate spaces for creative place making - leveraging art and culture to bring communities together for purpose and understanding. In return, we can revitalise a collective neighbourhood identity.
